Christopher Nolan Says He’s “Serious” About Possibly Directing a Bond Film in the Future

Oh come on...didn't the snow dream sequence of Inception already scratch that itch?

The producers would be absolutely crazy not to give it to Nolan. It would be the highest grossing Bond film just for having his name attached to it. I also don't see a need to reboot anything. Most of the old Bond films were stand-alone. They can just treat his movie as it's own movie without worrying about continuity.

Nolan is the one "name" director I would let make a Bond movie (well, maybe Michael Mann or Ridley Scott too). It gets ridiculous when bored entertainment writers start throwing out directors. Quentin Tarantino makes great movies, but he makes Quentin Tarantino movies. Very, very Quentin Tarantino movies. Then we have the fact that both times an arty director was hired (The World Is Not Enough and Quantum Of Solace), we have been gifted with terrible action sequences. Nolan can make amazing action sequences and an amazing dramatic movie.

Tell him he can make a Bond movie if he agrees to make four more Batman movies.
