I'm sure you all have skipped me by now, but whatever. I moved recently, so, suck it.

I finally got Matador (or whatever I'm supposed to watch) in the mail yesterday so I'll watch it tonight. What do I need to do? Give my 2 cents and then assign a movie to someone else in this thread?

Yea I'm wiping out all the nonsense that has occurred since ketel originally came up.

It's her turn. I'm not watching that movie on YouTube.

Alright... The Matador... sigh. It had it's moments, but overall, meh. I think Pierce Brosnan was badly miscast in this one. It was awkward and SLOW going. It wanted to be serious, it wanted to be over the top slapstick, it never quite delivered either. It never grabbed my attention and I kept having to rewind to see what I missed only to find I didn't miss much. The ONE part that cracked me up was Brosnan walking through the hotel lobby in a speedo and boots and jumping into the shark tank. Other than that, if this had different actors and better flow it could have been A LOT better. The writing... meh. Some of the lines seemed to have been thrown in just to be thrown in but nothing ever seemed sincere. It was like Brosnan was just reciting lines for the sake of being funny and it just didn't work. One-liners that were just trying too hard. It took so long for the story to develop, building to this climax of Greg Kinnear's character helping Brosnan's and then it's like they ran out of time or budget or creativity and wrapped it in 5 minutes. So, yeah. Just not the right actors for this one. I couldn't buy anything.

And I'm going to reassign whatever that youtube movie was to Doc just cuz.
