Pilgrim boobies starts this fin off the right way. The killer turkey is outstanding.

Flash forward from the 1600's to now and we are in a typical horror flick. You have the football jock with daddy issues. The all.American girl who wants him. A slut who wants him. A Chris Farley type sidekick ans a nerd.

The turkey does not just kill his victims but delivers great one liners as he kills them ala Freddy Kruger. Great piece of Americana this movie is.

You'd think a film about a killer, weapon-wielding, foul (fowl?)-mouthed turkey would be a little better. I tend to judge films like this on a different scale, and the problem I had with Thankskilling is that when a film deliberately tries very hard to be stupid, I definitely put the burden on it to be very cleverly stupid and/or excel in some other technical area. No, I didn't hate it, and it even made me laugh heartily more than once and chuckle quite a bit, but I will likely never watch it again and won't lose any sleep over that.
