There's a bunch of "scary" movies out there that I kind of wish would have been episodes of a Twilight Zone-ish anthology show on HBO or Showtime or something.

The first major twist of The Tall Man really got me. I can't think of a time when I was had so thoroughly. It made me think,"This must be similar to how unwary audiences watching Psycho must have felt." (Not that this movie comes close to Psycho, however). Also, unlike Psycho, that first twist I'm sure made it hard for this movie, via the advertising, to find its audience.
I also kind of liked that, after all, it was a film with a point of view.
