That WAS the music of the early 70s. "Machine Head" still sits in my closet on vinyl. In fact, I think this is the second copy, the first was well worn
Damn shame... pretty much the only keyboard player I ever wanted to watch live as part of a band, luckily I had the chance a few times. RIP

He was one of the musicians who you knew it was him without needing to check the credits....much like the way Santana's guitar is instantly recognizable was so for Lord's organ.
