I wastched Avatar last night. I was hoping for a fantasy-based pic but got the basic sci-fi action flick. The visuals were very cool but the story was pretty weak.

They were great. The movie just had a lot of style. The explosion scene at the docks was visually amazing

Picked up Broken Lizard's Slammin' Salmon on friday to watch with Adgy. I thought it was good, not necessarily Super Trooper or Beerfest level. Seemed toned down a little, I was definitely wanting a lot more raunchiness. Michael Clarke Duncan was terrific though and Colbie Smulders is totally cute.

One thing I was totally disturbed over was Morgan Fairchild's fake looking boobs/cleavage. That was gross.

Liked it a lot, although the "solution" kind of thing was ehh. Still, a great idea and nicely original.

As part of my recent tarantino fixation I watched Deathproof last night and LOVED IT!

Everything about this movie kicks ass. I loved the way it looked like an old 50's film and the music was fun to crank full blast. Love these Tarantino flicks where the girls kick ass.

I watched Jackie Brown for the first time in quite a while. Love that movie. Love its slow build and how it slowly reveals everything. And it never really feels slow.
Prince George: You know, Blackadder, for me socks are like sex. Lots of it about and I never seem to get any.

I was thinking about that film the other day. Perhaps, because I have been watching Jack Hill/Pam Grier films recently.

I love when Robert Forster's character falls in love with Pam Grier's character and he starts listening to Soul Music. Lol! Sam Jackson goes into his car and turns the stereo and The Delfonics comes on and he is like you like The Delfonicfs? Lol!

    Who wouldn't like the Delfonics.

I also like the fact that Pam Grier's character still plays records because she didn't want to start over and buy into the whole CD thing. :D

I actually went to the Del Amo mall after watching the film just to try to find the places where some of the film was shot. Lol!

I loved it and this is further proof of Ian Mckellan's greatness.

Bryan Singer really plays up the mild gay eroticism barely present in Stephen King's novella. Lol!
