OHHHH HELLLLZ YEAH! I pimped this as my Horror flick of the year on the new horror thread. What a wonderfully original idea done well...and with tremendous acting. Stephen McHattie(Watchmen, Shoot 'em Up,etc.) was terrific. The ending is...unorthodox, but I feel it adds to the overall bad-assery of the flick. If you wanna see something different, check this out! Is that Blu that you have pictured all region, or at least compatible for U.S.? Do you know??? If so i have to grab one because the picture on the standard is pretty crisp so I can only assume the Blu would be better.

Maybe that's why this flick disturbed me more than King's source material. Overall, like the novella, it's some pretty repulsive subject matter. A testament to the actors, director, etc. that it is still a very good flick. There is an Anthrax song about this story...anyone know the answer to that quiz? I'll wait.

From what i can find on it, it is in fact an ABC (region free) release.

No idea, bro. This was just something I pulled off of Google. I watched it on the R1 DVD.

interesting flick. Been playing on Showtime a lot. Christian Slater is great in this. His character reminds me of Milton from Office Space.

I should stop watching depressing movies. Lol!

    I enjoyed it, however.

I heard it was very Wong Kar Wai-ish. Thoughts?

    The soundtrack is fantastic.

So bad it was good. But was still bad. Even the fight choreography wasn't that great.
