Yesterday I had the sickness and tiredz...so it was movie day.
I watched 'Hunger' by Steve McQueen...it chronicles the 6 week 1981hunger strike by IRA prisoners (particularly that of Bobby Sands) in the British Maze Prison in Northern Ireland. Excellent film, and even if you're not particularly into or knowledgable of the subject matter its worth checking out.
Second on the list, was an epic fail called 'Surrogates' starting Bruce Willis. The most disappointing thing about this, was that it had a semi-reasonably intriguing story behind it (although perhaps a bit of an I Robot ripoff). The acting was horrible (LOL and at Ving Rhames as a dreadlock donning spiritual leader 'The Prophet') , the writing was horrible etc etc etc. It wasn't bad enough to turn off and walk away from, but certainly not decent enough for me to be glad I spent the time watching it.
