DEal, JD. Still hoping for Screamfest...

Pretty enjoyable 70's Italian slasher. I think I Eli Roth mentioned it in an interview about his favorite horror films and that's why I bought a used copy of it.

Do you know if your wife has seen Faces Of A Fig Tree? Momoi directed, wrote and starred in it. Very strange movie.

We hadn't heard of it and are now very intrigued. Just read a few reviews.... wow. Well you did say "very strange". Not too surprising that a preliminary search shows it's not widely available.

Wanna see it even more now. Where did you buy or view it?

I saw it at a film festival a couple years ago. I kind of assumed it'd be available overseas, but I can't say I'm surprised it never made it over here. :(

Saw this today. Pretty bleak but not a bad film.

Watched "Nothing But the Truth" yesterday. Probably Beckinsale's best movie to date. My rating would be a 9/10.

I liked Leon so I decided to check this movie out (also directed by Luc Besson). Was pretty entertaining, nothing spectacular though. Jean Reno makes another appearance as an expert "cleaner."

I watched this this past weekend, too, although not for the first time. I like it a lot.

    Highly recommended.

Any suggestions on other cool Swedish flicks?

The first that pop into my head are:

    (Chris Nolan remade this)

I'm sure there are plenty of other good ones not coming to me yet...

So on Sunday I thought I'd give The Big Lebowski another chance because Adgy swears that it's good but sometimes you need to watch it more than once. Annnnnnd I tried.

And I still hate this damn movie. It's so ****ing boring and none of the characters or events that are in the movie catch my interest at all. It's a movie about ****ing nothing. 30 mins in and I told Adgy "This movie is too damn long."

So **** it. I tried JD. No one say that I'm not open because I tried to watch this piece of **** ****ing movie and I hate it. :D
