Boom!!
No, this is absolutely my type of movie and has everything that I like in spades. I was trying to remember the day.... and ohhh yes. It all came back: my wife in a mood, burning my left ear complaining non-stop about well, pretty much everything (including LDC whom she loathes), until the one hour mark when after asking constantly what the hell was going on she finally gave up and (by the grace of god) bailed downstairs. I thought it was a cool concept and easy to understand but she has little patience for layers and complexities when she's not feeling it. So after finishing it alone and being massively stimulated by the movie and completely exhausted by her I spent the entire dinner AND THEN THE NEXT MORNING trying to explain it (which is not easy btw) because now she wanted to know. Yeah, I guess it WAS f***ing tiring.
I'm out of the loop. Does CYF still have free reign over Adgyparts? Or is he like sooo 4 years ago?

Oh man, so easy to forget. Not just Eddie...who is magic. Really, this is star turn stuff...and he just burnt it to a cinder. But Nick Nolte. Man oh man...one of my first real 'holy crap' moments was Rich Man Poor Man. And Nick Nolte was a god...Falconetti...the whole story. I remember buying the book and reading it as if it were scripture...
Anyway, so easy to forget how magic a moment this movie was. Some tidbits, Billy Bear(who was the indian in Predator...c'mon the bridge scene) James Remar(Dexter's Dad) and most important, early on Johnathan (mike the fixer)Banks shows up.
This is just a must see movie.
Oh, and the Busboys...ROCK!!!!!!!
48 Hours. I agree. An all time great.
I have easily seen it over a hundred times.
Saw Moonrise Kingdom yesterday.
Fascinating. If Wes Anderson isn't your cup of tea, you probably won't like it.
I'll have to see it several times to notice everything that is happenning.
Finally watched...

What a visual masterpiece
I finally watched RoboCop, having only seen various snippets here and there. Wow, what an f-d up work of genius. I am still cracking up from the OCP executive who leaned forward to get a better look at his former coworker falling out the window and then gave RoboCop props for it.
