I actually watched The Innkeepers the other night. Was pretty underwhelmed. The movie really didn't go anywhere and the plot wasn't very interesting.

This movie was pretty fun, great cast. Christopher Lloyd and Treat Williams have pretty awesome characters.

Also saw a movie with the aforementioned Sisto. Unknown is another movie with a solid cast, pretty intriguing plot and it's fun to watch the whole story unfold.
Nice double. 'Boat Drinks!!!!' Unknown should have been better. Barry Pepper is another of those guys I universally just like in anything.

I remember Things To Do In Denver as a pretty watchable Tarantino knockoff.

Gabrielle Anwar gotta eat. No, seriously, she really needs to eat.

The Horsemen and Frailty both were viewed thanks to my netflix queue. Religious overtones today.

this was on last night. I love the cast. Before you complain about Mohr or the kid from ET or the Boondock Saint that wasn't Norman 'Darryl' Reedus...Dennis Leary is awesome in this. As is Walken. Brad Garrett as one half of a mulletheaded goomba team is pretty fun too. I don't know what it is about Jeremy Sisto, ever since Six Feet Under, if he's in something I will probably watch it. Anyway, it's a good little minor flick.
Denis Leary is the reason i switched to steel shafts on my golf clubs.

    Real good. The end...SPOILERS

was a bit of a copout, you have to see it to understand. But really engrossing. Salma Hayek/John Travolta and mostly Benecio Del Toro steal the show. Del Toro is so much fun to watch. Constantly tic'ing and throwing faces. Real good stuff.

It all came back: my wife in a mood, burning my left ear complaining non-stop about well, pretty much everything (including LDC whom she loathes), until the one hour mark when after asking constantly what the hell was going on she finally gave up and (by the grace of god) bailed downstairs. I thought it was a cool concept and easy to understand but she has little patience for layers and complexities when she's not feeling it. So after finishing it alone and being massively stimulated by the movie and completely exhausted by her I spent the entire dinner AND THEN THE NEXT MORNING trying to explain it (which is not easy btw) because now she wanted to know. Yeah, I guess it WAS f***ing tiring.
Not to bring this up again, but after some discussion on my facebookz about this one, I really do think Gescom figured out what killed it for me. It was entertaining, yes, and creative, yes. BUT, of all the actors in it, the one I LEAST remember was the MAIN character, and that's just not a good thing. Everyone else was so damn good. I mean, Cotillard's scene in the hotel room where she goes from calm to enraged in a heartbeat was just genius. She ****in' creeped me OUT. But for me it was like, this is good, this is good, she is great, he is awesome, this is good...ugh, dammit Leo, you suck. I didn't HATE the movie, it just fell slightly short of "mind-blowing" for me. Like something was missing, and I think it was a more memorable lead.

To those (read: chicks) who say "Leo's not JUST another pretty face", I have three words:

    2) He

    3) Is
