Nice little horror flick about a family that brings their daughter back to life for a few days to say goodbye to her. Aiden Gillen stars (Petyr Baelish in Game of Thrones)

I thought Pet Semetary sucked
Saw Hit & Run today. WAY all over the map. Bizarrely great cast and cameos too. Tries to be a comedy, a relationship movie, and a car chase movie and ends up doing none well. Love KB but this movie was just not very good. Maybe a 6/10.
I just watched the silent film Voyage to the Moon for the first time! And had the recent Air soundtrack playing alongside it. It fits really well.
I was thinking, well, cause I always forget. It wasn't "Beat on the Brat" that was playing in that scene was it? It should had been.
Dunno. I do agree that the main guy wasn't that great. Herman Munster was good to see, but not quite the guy I had in mind when I read the novel.
It's one of those films that really doesn't do justice to the novel, hell, Pet Semetary is one of my favorite novels, I like it more than The Shining, sue me.
But the films is a pretty good for what it is, and it has cats, albeit creepy one, and the kid is one of the all time great creepy performances.
You're telling me about old fashion movies. I watch silents. :P
No seriously, the first half of that movie sets up something bigger, I mean, the first five minutes alone, and Scott's pain, anguish, and loneliness during the first half, but when it gets into the mystery about the kid, well, it does loses steam. I like slow burning movies where the the last half, and the end, are better than the first. Think The Haunting and Burnt Offerings?
Did you ever watch the original The Haunting, Adgy? That's the movie that I would assign, lol, if I was playing in that JD Horror game, but I am not.
Dunno, I have the Changeling, and might have to watch it again, it's just that the first five minutes are so intense, I think I have a point, well, besides the one in my head.![]()
