HOLY ****ING ****SNACKS!!!!! Look, I have read sooooooooooooo many condemnations of this flick. Bad overall...a few bright spots amongst the garbage...WHAT THE HELL???????

Even the ones that are fails are interesting at the very least. I saw some **** in this I will never be able to unsee. Whether it's darkness, outright weirdness, or whatThe****ness this movie was fun as hell. I was drinking a few with Kingsqueen and we enjoyed(wow...that's a weird word to use for this) just how wacky this was. LOTS of Japanese fetish stuff(so Adgy...you MUST watch this). Pull up a box of wine, and some people to ask 'did I just see what I think I did' and let it roll. Shoulda gone to the Cinefamily Midnight show of this...that would have been epic.

Oh, btw...the 'great' Ti West, a legend in his own mind, has the worst, laziest, most juvenile segment of the lot...M is for Miscarraige. Yeah. It's about as lame as you can imagine. Ass.

I actually turned it off due to its stupidity and my boredom.

V/H/S...The ABCS of Death...they don't make horror anthologies like they used to.

Oh No. As far as I am concerned...V/H/S hs no right being in the same discussion. ABC's of Death was challenging...even at its worst...fascinating.

I was afraid that ABC would be worse than V/H.S. That might not even be possible, lol.

I am going old school tonight and watching the original Maniac for the first time! I also want to see the remake!!

Di Renjie zhi tongtian diguo - Detective Dee: Mystery of the Phantom Flame

some strange s*** starts going down just before the first Empress of China is to be coronated, and the only one who can figure it out is an exiled Detective.

i LOVED this movie... f*** you if you didn't!

    Hobo With a Shotgun

Brilliant stab at Grindhouse, man. this movie is awesome! i think it tops Deathproof, Planet Terror and Machete. i liked this one. and i know damn well that Kat enjoyed too - because every time i bring it up she has to note how stupid it was.

...but what happens when he shows up on True Blood? first words to come out of her mouth were "look, it's Hobo with a Shotgun."

how can i not like this one? with Andi Sex Gang and Simon Boswell on the soundtrack!

    The Hills Have Eyes (2006)

you know how much i loathe remakes... so you'll be surprised to hear that i enjoyed this one. maybe it's because Wes produced it? i thought it was a great take with a couple of savage moments in its own right. the fact that no one is gonna match Michael Berryman, like ever, notwithstanding, i liked the casting.

    Dark Shadows

another you would think i'd hate, right? i must be getting soft because i liked this. if you were a fan of the old soap, just abandon all that when you start watching. but it will still oddly familiar. it's not all old Thymee soaps, but it does render a pretty contemporary soap opera... it's more expressive if less dramatic.

Burton managed to k.i.s.s the embellishments, manage his colors better and found that camp balance that has really been missing, in my opinion, since Scissorhands.

the women were all fabulous, even the Rothschild bird... who normally bugs the s*** out of me in his movies.

this was Johnny's best acting job in a looooooooooooooooong time. it's unfortunate however that it appears short lived - Tonto looks like he went right back into his Captain Jack method.

    Chernobyl Diaries

    don't bother.

Had high hopes for "Europa Report" and boy, did it suck balls. Don't bother with it. Its the worst Sci-fi movie I've seen in years.

Once again it goes to show if the acting sucks and the story sucks...no amount of CGI can camouflage a pile of ****.

I just fast forwarded when I didn't like a scene so I only saw a part of some of them. I liked the dogfight one. The spider one was lame. The dog man/woman nazi one was so odd. After the terrible fart segment and the stupid masturbation contest, I remember trying to watch Ti West's segment but I don't even remember it, just that it was pointless.
