Babel- excellent and though provoking . Also saw Pan's Labyrinth this weekend everything great that you have heard or read about it is true; a beautiful piece of filmmaking.
Saw 'The Departed'...and who knows, I'm probably in the minority....but I didn't think it was all it was honked up to be...what a let down ending....I need closure!!
Saw alot of movies this last week.
Fahrenheit 911 - interesting.
Flyboys - pretty good.
Idiocracy - pretty good.
Wishing Stairs - good.
Posiden - pretty good.
A New World - sucked.
The Departed - great.
This was good.
This was OK, not as good as I thought it would be.

The Prestige - Christian Bale is awesome
This movie ruled when I was a kid. It still rules now. Metal lyrics cause one kid to unknowingly sacrifice his friend's dead dog which is buried in the backyard, thus bringing demons to Earth in the forms of zombie construction workers and evil dopplegangers and giant satanobeasts in the foyer. If it wasn't a Canadian flick, it surely would have raked in an Oscar or two.
Finally saw The Descent last night (director's cut). I'm... well, I'm pretty floored by this flick. It's not a great film.. or maybe it is. Heck, I all I know was I jumped pretty high about 2 or 3 times and felt some serious claustrophobia that was pretty legit for this type of thing. I need to watch it again.
Who else has seen this? What did you think? I think Juno did not deserve what she got.
