Thread: Law & Order:SVU

What a shiatty season. I was really enjoying Wednesday's episode, up until the PC bullshiat on gun control. The week before that, the reason for the kid raping milf's was because he was raped by his babysitter. That was fine but, they ended it as if we should feel sorry for the little bastard. F'ing lame. I like the older episodes because they were more edgy. Now, they are trying too hard with all the stupid plot twists.

Now, miss clingy/jealousy JL Hewitt is signed on for next season because Mariska will only be back in a limited role. Can't wait.

i'm dreading that. i think mariska might want to spend more time with her newly enlarged family or something. i HATE jLove. her acting is terrible. my husband might be happy though, he used to think she was cute (maybe still?) i don't know if the show will last if they make these changes. they tried to showcase 2 "stars" on law & order LA but that didn't save it from being cancelled.

SVU has, when possible, always shown that there are reasons why people do what they do. There is nothing wrong with that.

Also, don't expect it to be on more than another season or 2. Ratings are super low.

Oh geezus....I heard the rumor about her coming on SVU as a new det. Ugh. That chick SUCKS. I've seen some of her Ghost Whisperer ****. Riveting. At least she has the whole furrowed brow/discerning look down.

Too bad she wasn't pegged to play a DA on that show. They tend to either shoot/kill/fake kill/fire the female DAs quite frequently.

I'm calling it. Last SVU season coming up. Possibly the end of the L&O franchise.

uh , i agree. i hope it doesn't become the jLOVE show. ice t and munch are cool, but they're not really the focal points of the series.

i love munch. id love to see a spin-off where he investigates government conspiracies.

oh i forgot to mention, the bbc airs law & order: uk, which i like a lot. guess there's always that one when this one goes in the crapper!

I gave up on L+O a long time ago. They changed heads too many times. SVU though...Mariska and Meloni were the longstanding figgerheads. Hell, Belzer/Munch may be the only guy still standing, and he was a carry over from HOMICIDE, which still is the greatest episodic tv show ever(back ne up here Booby).
