Leno out; Fallon in as Tonight Show host
Fallon to replace Leno next spring. I think NBC is scared of Kimmel so they are going with a younger host.

Leno is better overall comedian, but Fallon is 100x more talented.

And both are about as bland as tissue paper. It's a clear reaction by NBC to counter Jimmy Kimmel. If Fallon craps the bed ratings wise, even a little...how long till AnvilFace returns from the dead...AGAIN?

Does this "younger audience" they worry about even watch late night non-cable TV anymore? I know I don't.

Kimmel has taken time to build but has quietly changed the late night dynamic. It's a testament to ABC that they stayed the course and allowed him to grow. Jimmy is a major force now, and yeah...I don't really get it either, if you really want to see something from late night you can pick and peck on you tube etc, but apparently the pie is coveted by all.

It was a matter of time.
Leno is BAD! He's always been BAD!
And Fallon has that Idiot Boyfriend song! And other stuff. He was in Saturday Night Live, no? 'Nuff said.

Leno is bland but Fallon is so awful I would rather watch The Magic Hour. I only watch these shows when a guest I am very interested in is on, though.

I would be interested in watching an Alec Baldwin talk show.

I dont get it. If Leno is so BAD how did he stay on the air for so long? I believe he had good ratings also. I dont think people would continue to watch him if he was so BAD! Maybe for a couple years he could get away with being BAD but I believe Leno has been on for a few years.
