Looper Blu-ray
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will bring to Blu-ray director Rian Johnson's futuristic action film Looper (2012), starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Jeff Daniels and Emily Blunt. The preliminary release date set by the studio is December 31.
Exact technical specs and supplemental features to be included with this release are yet to be revealed.
Was gonna try to catch this before it leaves theaters...no rush now.
Saw it today.
(minor spoilers)
It's good but I would probably have enjoyed it better had they skipped the telekinesis bit entirely. It gets briefly introduced early on in the movie and is just hovering around like a big flying pink elephant until the third act. It's like the movie starts, they explain what loopers are, we get introduced to Gordon-Levitts character oh and by the way ten percent of the population can now do magic. And 90 minutes later some magic stuff happens. I mean what the ****. Apart from that, it was very enjoyable and "believable", as believable as a movie about time travel can be anyway. I'd still recommend it, it's good.
Saw it finally this weekend and enjoyed it thoroughly.

The wife and I saw this not too long ago, and we both enjoyed it. Very entertaining. In regards to the telekinesis, I wish there was more of it in the movie. I think they could added more action with it.
I thought the tk was handled well. Established as a terrible parlour trick and when the one true exception was revealed...ok, a little convenient, but still allowable. This is a movie that really could be nitpicked into oblivion but they 'closed the loop' so solidly that it's just so forgivable.
