I just saw Midnight In Paris and loved the **** out of it.
If you don't like art, literature or intelligent comedy or if you have the cultural literacy of a diehard wrestling fan then this movie ISN'T for you.
But I loved every minute of it.
My advice... if you don't already know the story... don't try and learn anything about this movie. Just go and enjoy it.
Unless you're a philistine in which case I recommend you avoid it at all costs.
I still haven't seen Pirates or X-Men...
AND NOW I'M GOING TO SEE THIS MOVIE AGAIN!
That's how good it is and that's how much you should all go see it.

I just have a moral problem giving money to the guy. Same with Polanski.
oH Xst!!!! :facepalm:It's a Woody Allen movie. Ugh. Nooooooooope. Call me what you will Doc, as long as you don't call me a Woody fan. Even before he was a loathesome reptile of a human being, I disliked his movies. That may make me a lower form of moviegoer in your opinion, and I am proud to wear that tag.

I don't dislike his movies. Just don't like giving money and supporting them. Also, I cringe anytime I see him playing the old man picking up on the younger girl. Guess I should be thankful she isn't ever an asian girl at least.Quote:

It's not that I won't see his movies, but like SmytheKing, I feel uncomfortable with supporting his stuff. He's in something of a grey area for me (unlike Polanski, who I will not watch under any circumstances).
Puritanical has nothing to do with cheating on your wife with your adopted daughter. I didn't know that was being puritanical, but lump me in that group if you feel like it.Quote:
