I'll agree with just about ever flick mentioned so far, and while I'm not sure this qualifies as a guilty pleasure as the movie is just flat out awesome, but I cannot ever flip past whenever this is on, no matter how far in, etc. I simply have to continue watching till it is over.

You know, fightin' in a basement offers a lot of difficulties. Number one being, you're fightin' in a basement!

Did you ever see the original Solaris?

Yeah, I don't think it qualifies. Even if nothing else was decent in it, it would be worth watching for Val Kilmer's performance alone.

For me I can The Fifth Element, Stardust & Time Bandits always seem to get rewatched every time I come accross them.

You should check it out. It holds up remarkably well despite being four decades old. Tarkovsky was a hell of a director. The original story is well worth a read as well.

Event Horizon is one of the only movies that I find legitimately disturbing and scary. It's freaking amazing.

Not sure how I made the connection from that movie but this made me think of:

A great movie IMO and certainly a guilty pleasure of mine...
