Per our usual in this venue, we were set up in the dead-center spot on the first balcony. Terminal 5 can be tricky when it comes to getting the sound just right, so while the instruments sounded very good and are nicely balanced, the vocals were pretty low in the mix throughout most of the concert. Nonetheless, the recording is solid and a great snapshot of the show. Enjoy!

Used to be a huge Wilco fan, still listen on occasion. I'll listen to their set JUST to hear Nels Cline play. Last time I saw them, at the Santa Barbara Bowl, Nels was ridiculously amazing. The dude has GAME.

I saw Nels play several times with Mike Watt when he was touring for the Contemplating the Engine Room album. The guy is amazing live. He used a lot of toys and gadgets, like a toy laser gun on the guitar to get some really cool sounds. One of the greats.

mariachi el bronx are archived. i'm gonna listen to it after this is done.

also gonna listen to cold war kids tomorrow. i don't care for the rest, but i think some of the other bands might pique other lgkers' interest.
