No mention of the fact that he's no longer with the band...The singer and bass player for the popular rock band "Queens of the Stone Age," Nick Oliveri, was arrested after a five hour standoff in Hollywood Tuesday night.
Police were called to the rocker's Hollywood home in the 900 block of Hobart Boulevard shortly after 5 o'clock after receiving a domestic violence call.

SWAT officers surrounded the home after learning that a female hostage was being held inside, according to LAPD Commander Andrew Smith. That hostage, identified as Oliveri's girlfriend, was released about 8:30 p.m. unharmed, Smith said.
Investigators say the couple had gotten into an argument Monday night, but Oliveri left the home before police arrived. He reportedly returned Tuedsay and the two got into an argument.
Oliveri was arrested around 10:30 p.m. on suspicion of domestic violence.
