I really hope there's new music. What are the chances that he will not only tour, but that he would actually play California?

I saw both (or was it two out of three?) of his Wiltern shows for the Get Behind the Mule tour... those first few seconds parading down the aisle were treated like the return of a conquering hero.

Dude likes his money - I'm sure he will tour for this one. The last several releases weren't exactly tour worthy, in scope that is.

Music at The Digital Fix - Imelda May set to unleash More Mayhem

Imelda May has announced the special edition re-release of her sophomore album Mayhem.

More Mayhem is set for release on September 12th through Decca Records, with a new single 'Road Runner' released on the same day. 'Road Runner' is one of three new tracks on the special edition which also features her previously unreleased cover of Patsy Cline's 'Walking After Midnight', as well as remixes of 'Inside Out' and 'Proud And Humble'.

Just picked up the new Chili Peppers album, "I'm With You".

It sounds very late 70's/early 80's.

I'm thinking Rolling Stone's "Emotional Rescue" era.

The new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer is very good, and he sings a lot on the album with background vocals.

Very good after the first couple of plays.

I am a Morrissey fan beyond category, but I don't care too much for these songs. "People Are The Same" was OK.

I didn't like Years Of Refusal very much, but I absolutely loved Ringleader.

And You Are the Quarry was absolutely amazing.

I'm hoping there are some deep tracks, because these tracks seem like filler.

He was PJ Harvey's guitarist for a little while.
