paging lunchbox:
someone passed on a note to me "you might like this group - The Sheds from agoura hills, a bit ska-melodicore band who's age range doesn't appear to exceed 21."
Kind of digging it.
it's not bad, but they got the "doesn't sound over age 21" thing right. i'd probably gravitate towards it more if i were still under 25 or if i were my age and grew with them like i did with thrice. i can still rock "identity crisis" and "illusion of safety" as you well know.
good to hear decent bands are still coming out of the area. there's another band called the braces that plays a lot around the TO area. it's pop punk though, reminds me of further seems forever and the lead singer is quite young so again, more stuff i can't relate to anymore but isn't bad music.
haha. i think he's in his early 20s, but ya, he looks really young. he pulls A LOT of tail though. and the girls are hot, too. he's not my type, but good for him. he seems like a nice guy, but i only interact with him on our little internets network of punkers. one of his ex-gfs was in the music video for that song you mentioned, the "i'm dreaming of LA" song, i think it's called "i'd rather be hot". she's the blond one.
Has anyone been to the Saban theater in Beverly Hills?
Joe Bonamassa is playing there in April and i was wondering what the place is like.
