Nick 13 from Tiger Army (my favorite band) recorded a solo country album that just came out yesterday. I'm not a fan of country music except for some classic artists like Hank Williams Sr. and Johnny Cash.
That being said, his album came out yesterday and I CANNOT stop listening to it. If anyone wants to check it out, you can listen to the whole album here:

i liked tiger army for a while, but got tired of them after they kept changing band members (aside from nick 13). it's a personal quirk, but i have a really hard time following a band that keeps changing even if the general sound doesn't change much.
there's some real good punk gone country projects out there though. hot water music ---> chuck ragan. thrice ---> dustin kensrue. avail ---> tim barry and then there's lucero. but ya, i feel you on only liking hank III and cash.
normally i'd agree with you. i'm not a huge fan of a band continually having completely different lineups, but nick 13 essentially IS tiger army, so it's never really bothered me. although i have been sad to see some particular members leave the band. especially fred hell.Quote:

Apparently, the new Atari Teenage Riot album is out already? Anybody heard it? I'm'a download it first. I used to love ATR, but I couldn't even get through the last Alec Empire album.
