Seeing this album brought back memories for me. In 1974 our Highschool band (Cresenta Valley HS) had set up to have Don Ellis play a concert with our band. We were given quite a lot of his music to learn. Unfortunently that was right before his health problems started up and he had to cancel. He did reinverse us for all the programs & posters we had printed. Class act & a great talent.
