I thought about the diabetes jokes from the roast as I was reading the about this. Ouch.
RIP Patrice.
I was very sad to hear this this morning. He was a really funny guy who should have been bigger than he was. Truly a shame. R.I.P.
Damn. Dude was funny. R.I.P.
The banana stand will never be the same.

Criminally underrated. I'm a big fan of his stand-up and he was my favorite guest on Opie & Anthony, an incredibly funny and charming (in his own way) guy.

Im real sad to hear about Patrice. He was a great comedian. Too young to go like that.
The girl that did those jokes on the roast was on Howard after Patrice had his stroke and she stuck to her guns...she said basically that while she felt bad Patrice was a comedian and he knew how to take it. I think she spoke to him afterwards though regardless. Those roasts are like that, if you think that her jokes were harsh wait until the next one. Hell, they threw Greg Giraldo under the bus first opportunity too.
This dude cracked me UP. Even if it was just those "all about the 80's" type shows on VH1 where they have comedians chime in on things. He always made me laugh. I immediately thought about the Charlie Sheen Roast when I read this news, all the jokes made about his illness. Sad.
