I agree 1000%. "Moon" absolutely sends shivers down my spine to this day. He is thee best at capturing the "feeling" and "motion" of his subject and conveying to your ear, and that makes he and his music timeless...none better. He and Samuel Barber are my fav American Composers. Don't get me wrong, I love Ives, Copeland and Glass but I absolutely adore George. If you haven't seen George in concert, I plead to you that you put it on your bucket list. The shows are smaller and less "stuffy" now. That's both good and bad but he's still a "healthy steamboat full of s***!" -2010 in Alexandria, Va.

He is an American treasure. Please go see him. The notes don't change.

Go right to "Autumn" Adg. Find a good quality mp3, and a quiet place for 2ish hours, preferably in the dark with kick ass headphones or plugs and just let it go. There's a ton of "single stroke.....pauses" in there for mood so you can't really buzz thru it. Its set up perfectly from beginning to end. Just try to have no interruptions whilst listening.

Enjoy bro, its worth every second.

Its like "The Darkside" for us Piano fanboys...all awesome from first to last stroke.
