Hank: "I'd like to **** her."
Larry: "You don't play for the Kings, Hank."

The fictional Larry Sanders Show was based in L.A. so I think it's clear he was referring to the LA Kings and not the Sacramento Kings.
Had it been a reference to a basketball team, they would have referred to the Lakers.

Was as that game in November 1991 against Toronto (my first hockey game in person, and was I hooked after that!), they used those hideous knockoffs because the producers didn't want to fork up the $$$ for the real thing.
