That poster is almost cutesy clever and trying too hard to tie into the Asian roots. I dunno...starting to get less interested.

OLDBOY Red-Band Trailer. Spike Lee’s OLDBOY Stars Josh Brolin | Collider

Hurm. A little on the nose...but the violence is there, so hopefully they will do right by the ending.

    say what??

The rumors are true ... Number 5 is still alive!!! A remake of the classic 80s robot film "Short Circuit" is actively in development -- so says the actor who played the brownfaced, ambiguously Indian character Ben Jabituya ... and he tells TMZ, he might be back for more.

Fisher Stevens tells us, he's been in touch with producers about reprising his role in the remake ... but no decisions have been made yet.

Very Early Poster For The Crow Reboot, New Details Fresh From Comic-Con - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

O’Barr, the creator of the original comics, said that he’s supporting the new film because of director Gutierrez’ take on the material. Shock ‘Til You Drop quote O’Barr as saying:

What Javier told me was that he wanted to go back to the source material. Be as faithful as possible which would make it something entirely different. Proyas’ film is stunning and stylized. I mean that in a good way. Nothing negative about it. Going back to the original book and keeping it grounded and realistic and dirty and gritty, it really appealed to me. Even so much as to carrying over the visual metaphors like horses and trains – where the street signs always say No Exit or One Way. Exploring it with a different attitude appealed to me.

I got a screening of it today. It pretty much is pirates of the caribbean old-west style, with more gun fire. Terrible dialogue, a bit of overt racism, and yet, it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be.
It was so bad that I expected Steve Urkel to come out in full cowboy gear after the credits were over with his DID I DO THAT??? line...
