I expect he is waiting for the english remake of Old Boy (which will be only 1/4 as good as the original) so he can claim he did not watch an "Asian" film.

what I'm really looking for is insane body count. Preferably faceless hordes of henchman/nazis/thugs/goons/whatever.

Well then I have to say Old Boy might make you want to rescind your no Asian rule. At least watch the clawhammer/hallway scene for multiple goon/thug bodycount.

Asian cinema is really the best for this. The Baby Cart series really delivers in this regard. And that's a revenge series of sorts, too.

Really, this was the first movie that popped in my head when the subject of revenge movie came up, and I didn't necessarily want it in my head.
