Wasn't playing impersonal stadia one of the things that led to whole ethos of The Wall? Y'know, venues that seat, like, 92,000+?
On a non-cynical note, The Wall show was an awesome experience down at the Honda Center a couple of winters back.... even thought I had the Ducks championship banner at the edge of my line of sight for the whole evening. I hope Waters makes the entire show bigger to encompass the entire venue. If the neighborhood is anything like it was when I last attended an event at the Coliseum in the mid 1990's, then drive. And lock the doors. And keep the windows rolled up. Don't make eye contact with anyone.

The wife and I will be there! Looking forward to the show - I have heard it is quite an experience.
I will be back out to LA the next morning for Game 4 to watch the 'Yotes get spanked by our Los Angeles Kings!
My sister went to the show at AT&T Park. She said it was very "smokey" outside that night. Strange.
Got a friend who is seeing it up here in Seattle so I will be looking for a review from this weekend to share with her.
MAN!!! what an amazing show!!!!!! Loved it
I didn't even realize someone had started a thread for this. The show was great!
This was my fourth time seeing The Wall. Roger went on much later than usual. Around 8:45. I think it was more due to the late arriving crowd than technical issues. I wasn't sure about crowd size since there were still tickets available up to show time. But the entire upper section was packed and overall crowd response was good, but not over the top energy.
The Wall has been scaled in size to fit larger venues. The additional length on each sided of the wall is used primarily to display the band- well done! A stop/start occurred almost immediately during Thin Ice when Roger's mic cut out and he insisted they re-start the number. That gave everyone a fuzzy moment. I also noticed some new visuals during Don't Leave Me Now and You Better Run. And for these Stadium shows Roger has the surround sound system in full effect- it's probably the best sounding and best mixed shows I have seen, although it could have been a tad louder (don't want to upset oldsters!).
At past performances, for me the first half often seemed the stronger of the two. Not so last night. The second half of The Wall is made for a stadium sized venue! From the ominous opening of Hey You, the show picked up a steady head of steam right into Run Like Hell, Waiting For The Worms and The Trial. It's probably one of the greatest "big" concert moments I have witnessed musically and visually. Here's a grainy iPhone pic of Piggy Pig floating by during Run Like Hell-
Bring on July 6th in NYC!
