even though I have watched the red trailer 10000 times, I am still going to laugh my non tattooed ass off when I get to see this in the theater.

I really wish I could have been the fly on the wall during the pitch meeting for this one. "There's this teddy bear, see, but he's older and he's horny and he cusses."

Does it look to anyone that they decided to basically use the bear from Toy Story 3, just alter him somewhat to not be such a total dick?

Wahlberg was on Howard Stern yesterday and he said something along the lines..."my wife heard what this was about and told me I would be throwing my career away'...but then he read the script. The fact that they are having multiple word-of-mouth screenings and Marky Mark is already getting out and talking this up bodes well. Some HS staffers got to see it and said that it's a laugh out loud R rated comedy. It opens against a Tyler Perry movie, which is good counter programming, but I don't think it can be #1 against that.

I laughed when he thought the fight scene with the bear would be totally ridiculous, but just from previews has become a cult phenomenon (along with the white trash girl names) to the point he's almost sick of it.
