Saw it on opening night, loved it. The last part of the movie got a little slow, but still hilarious.
FYI did you know Shawn Thornton makes a cameo?

Saw it this weekend and really enjoyed it. The best part was when Wahlberg punches the fat kid for sure.
Just saw it today.
As many have said... a handful of solid laughs but for the most part a pretty forgettable movie.
who said it was pretty forgettable? Really just you. Those that liked...really liked. Your post is just particularly NAYSAY-ish. It's a friggin movie about a Teddy bear...did you expect a life changing movie about the differences between men and women. Jeez Doc. I will let you heap shovels of **** when you want to, but this movie either resonates with you, makes you chuckle...or not. To judge it as if it's Sean Penn Vs James Franco in some parboiled oscar bait...well, no monsignor that dog just won't hunt.
Still cannot get enough of the fight in the hotel room, can watch that and the party at Teds house over and over as well.
**** I still have a Teddy Ruxpin buried in the garage. I used to be scared as a kid that some day it actually would come alive...
Although, I did have some pretty good WWF style brawls in my room between Ruxpin and the Alf doll...
I think Mark Wahlberg should stick to comedies for a while. He's a lot better in them than he is in most action films.
Easy there tiger...
I'm just saying.
As a comedy it rates about a C+ or a B-. It's a clever idea but that's about it. Yes. I was disappointed. Sue me.
EDIT : And doing stuff like adding a musical sting from Raider of the Lost Ark when Ted grabs his ear as the door is closing doesn't count as "funny" or a "joke" to me. It's just more pointless pop culture references. It's one tiny step above what they do in stuff like "Epic Movie".
EDIT EDIT : AND I'm tired of our generations fascination with awful media. Liking something because it's terrible was a cute personality quirk in our early 20's.... it's time to be done with **** like Flash Gordon. I've spent the last 10 years of my life listening to people who ironically (or not god help us) think that song and that movie are hilariously wonderful. They're not. They're awful. They were awful then and they're awful now and it stopped making you interesting to go the other way on it a long time ago.
**** Flash Gordon. **** Troll 2.
