Yeah, that's the way I felt. I did laugh out loud a lot, and so did the audience I saw it with. I really want to see it on blu at home...I think it was one of those rare HEADSPACE movies that might do better in a quiet room alone. Guided by Kingsqueen, who knew nothing about this going in and apparently really enjoyed it, I think it's a good movie. Personally I just got sidetracked by the 3rd act where they went to the desert. A bit off topic, but just how good is Zjeko Ivanek? Dude shows up in so many tv shows/movies and all he does is WIN the scenes he is in. For a character actor the guy has been overexposed, yet he just keeps continuing to do REALLY good work. Tom Waits(in a stuntcasting/showy part) actually deserves some love too for being so off...that you can't help but love him. And the bunny.

Blu-ray Review: Seven Psychopaths | High-Def Digest
While I didn't embrace this as much as the reviewer did he does mention that it plays better the second time. That was what I was thinking. Gonna give it another go and hopefully I will appreciate it more. There is a lot of dislike for this on the Last Movie Watched thread and I just don't think this movie deserves the rap it's getting. Looking forward to giving it a quiet watch at home as opposed to the 'group' theater experience.
