That's what it appears to be. I never would have thought that. She was 58 at the time of the first season. She looked younger then that in the series.

While looking this up, I noticed that the 2 sons that played Lionel in the series were only 11 years younger then Sherman.

The series lasted 11 seasons. I knew it had a long run but did not think it was that long.

Oh no!!!!! No No No. So sad. I loved me some George Jefferson. I even liked him in screwed...'never trust a black man named Chip'

He had a great guest appearance or two on Fresh Prince as well. RIP.
