Nick Cave and Warren Ellis Score West Memphis Three Documentary Film West of Memphis | News | Pitchfork
Nick Cave and his Bad Seeds/Grinderman collaborator Warren Ellis (also of Dirty Three) have teamed up for yet another film score. As TwentyFourBit reports, Cave and Ellis have penned the original score for the documentary West of Memphis, premiering this week at Sundance.
Directed and written by Amy Berg, and co-produced and co-written by Peter Jackson (The Lord of the Rings), the film analyzes the controversial case of the West Memphis Three, three men originally found guilty in 1994 of murdering three eight-year-old children, who were freed last year after 18 years in prison. West of Memphis focuses on their supporters, and points to a victim's stepfather as the actual murderer, according to Reuters.

Excellent list, IMO. Probably best that BoobyTrap doesn't ever see it, though.
