i'm just not a fan of the way she sings or her voice. i don't like the switching tones on long notes and ragged syncopation, if you could call it that.

it does seem kinda short. i'm wondering if there will be some score tracks done by a composer to fill in the gaps. trying to imagine this movie with just those tracks doesn't sit right with me.

I fully expect some of Tyler Bates' music to be on the CD as well.

Does Zac Snyder use no one BUT Tyler Bates? I think I have the 300 soundtrack but wasn't too impressed with his stuff.

I suppose Giacchino would not fit the tone of Sucker Punch?

I dunno. Some directors like who they like. I'd be a little surprised if Tyler Bates scores Superman, but... who knows?

As for Giacchino, after his score for Let Me In, I would hesitate to say anything about him not fitting a tone. If he can do a horror score that well after doing good work on Pixar movies, he'd probably be able to handle just about any type of movie.

i had this bizarre dream last night (which is the usual for me) that this movie was not at all what I expected, that it was a total let down. thankfully, it was just a dream. but it led to other weird parts of the dream...
