Yeah, all this needs to be is decent story-wise. The visuals will do the rest.

More like The Fall and less like The Cell.

Also, what are the box office expectations? The fact that they've been pimping it so hard makes me think they're aiming high, but with a movie that's basically going to be all about the visuals... is that wise?

Well, I was going to write a review of Jack and Jill here after watching it, but I think I would be better off jumping into Piranha infested waters. Lol!
