Saw a version of the first hour of this at SDCC. Full of trite situations and cliche' characters. Basically textbook network tv. This has NO CHANCE. It is expensive and they are having immense problems getting the SyFy network-y fx done in the standard turnaround time. Don't get too fond of this one(that should be easy enough) because there is virtually no way this makes it to 8 episodes much less an entire season.
Bummer I was looking forward to Terra Nova. I'll still check it out tho, maybe it gets better over time.
