Vinnie Vincent -- the guitarist who famously took Ace Frehley's place in the band KISS -- was arrested today on charges of aggravated assault ... TMZ has learned.

Finally Vinnie gets some publicity.
Umm oh wait , wrong kind.

At this point I think there are quite a few KISS fans who don't remember him in the band.

Not the biggest KISS fan. Okay, not one at all. But I do recall seeing an interview of Gene Simmonds where he described Vincent as the most self destructive person he'd ever met.

He looked better in that mug shot than I was expecting.
