that's a hefty collection...
i got a bunch of stuff recently:
thrice -anthology
complete with a pic of them at the show i was at. this is actually a 4xLP set but 2 are black and 2 are white so i only took a pic of each color.
same hot water music live in chicago 3xLP set that ian pictured, but here's a different view
and then here's a bunch of classics i picked up off discogs for anywhere between $2-8 each
don't mind the shoes... this was an instagram pic of all the stuff i got in the mail that day...
records are:
johnny cash and the tennessee two - get rhythm
johnny cash - walk the line
the fabulous johnny cash
frank sinatra, count basie and his orchestra - it might as well be swing
count basie and his orchestra - primetime
buddy holly - a rock & roll collection
count basie, joe williams - count basie swings and joe williams sings
and not pictured, i also got a sensefield/farside flexi 6" that was a giveaway with revelation records' mail order back in 1998 as well as an H2O 7" that features a cover of the ice cube song "it was a good day". oh and i also got the new forgetters (blake schwarzenbach's most recent project) and a 10" EP from a band that i know called the stereo state - crossing canyons.
i might go back and take a pic of those if i find the time.
i also recently ordered and am awaiting the jawbreaker re-presses of chesterfield king and bivouac.
ya, it's a good one. this guy i bought from has like 800 records to sell. at one point, i had 9 in my cart and wittled it down to 5. i listened to some of the other frank sinatra stuff he had via spotify but the best one was the count basie collaboration.My pop has that Frank Sinatra and Count Basie record!

Midnight Oil - Blue Sky Mining (blue vinyl)
The Proclaimers - Sunshine on Leith (a classic album)
And I pre-ordered the repressing of:
HUM - So You'd Prefer An Astronaut
Quicksand - Manic Compression
I need to get in here more often. I'm get inspired to enhance my collection.
According to my list I officially have 480 records (not including my 45's or 10' records).
