ya, i think that's kind of the trouble with discogs. that against me! 7" that sarf linked to said it was the green vinyl which i think is rarer but when i read the description and notes there was conflicting info over whether it was green or grey. (said green twice and grey once). so i had to message the dude about it and he said it was grey. i think because of that, he lowered the price and that's why i only had to pay $2.50 for it.

my JEW record is taking forever to get here. i keep wanting to message the guy and ask when he sent it, but i'll wait until it's been 2 wks (this saturday). i'm just impatient.

i'm also going to see about stopping by a record store next tuesday to see if i can get a blue copy of russian spies. not sure yet. i took my kid out for a drive yesterday and she got car sick twice. totally sucked. :(

so on my lunch break today, I went to an estate sale. found an old technics table, and got it for 25, it's a sl-q2. did some quick research on the phone before i got it, and it seems like they're still pretty decent.

it needs a peg/foot and a new cartridge/needle, but it does spin nicely. going to try and go vintage before i buy an expensive table.

Skybomba: i know you have the ortofon om10 and grado black, i'm liking those 2 and the AT94E, all seem to have pretty good reviews. which do you prefer out of the 2 you have?

congrats on the new table! vintage beats anything that isn't new audiophile (or used audiophile).

get the grado, mine replaced the ortofon. what are you using for a preamp?

well, with this sony table, i didn't run it through a preamp or receiver. so i'm in the market for one of those too, i've been looking at thrift stores, i hear sometimes you can find some decent receivers, no luck yet.

    what do you use?

Yeah, the thing with the Strung Out was it was sealed, so he assumed it was the rare blue version, i get wanting to keep it sealed but i think you gotta double check that ****. They seem cool and im willing to keep the black so hopefully they just refund the difference.

Theres a guy on Vinyl Collective trying to get rid of the JEW Bleed American on black for 40 bucks.

Ha you really like blue huh?

    Any Wilco fans?

I Might b/w I Love My Label Limited Edition Blue 7" Vinyl (WIL420)

Here it is: the debut release from Wilco's very own label, dBpm Records. It's a 7" single featuring, you guessed it, Wilco doing a rockin new tune called "I Might" and on the b-side, covering the oh-so-appropriate Nick Lowe-penned "I Love My Label." And the Wilco store is the only place you can get it on limited edition clear blue vinyl. Very cool. Very rare.

A digital download of both tracks is included in every sleeve and we'll make "I Might" available for instant download through your store account before July 1st.

    A side: I Might
B side: I Love My Label

    Limit of one per person.

    http://wilco.kungfustore.com/category/27-pre-orders/product/3000-i-might-7-wil420

Came out to a lil over $10 with shipping.

That is pretty, i've read about those...in the future, i'll have to get a tube preamp. Right now i'm going to really look for a sweet receiver, or else i'm going to get one of these:
