Agreed, like i said in the previous thread though, my closest record store is Fingerprints which is unfortunately 30 minutes away in Long Beach, so i don't get to go to it very often. So i'm mostly buying on eBay or other online stores. I miss the days of having 3 really good record stores within 5-10 minutes of me.

I unfortunately just found out i got burned for about $30 on my recently ebay purchase of the kevin devine pink/blue album, they had it at 60 and i got em down to 50 but i just found the album for sale from the label for $21! ouch!

haha, ya the cost of having a house and kid do eat into the bank account. BUT, i was already spending more than normal on myself. $500 on shoes, $500 at agent p and $300 at kiki de montparnasse. being a lady is expensive even without the family stuff thrown in.
obviously, i don't spend like that every month, so i can allot more towards records next month. :)

god, that really sucks about getting ripped off on the kevin devine album. it reminds me of the time i bought an oop CD off ebay back in college in '98. i won the bid at $25 which was a lot to me back then and when i got it, it was just a burned copy and the person had made copies of the liner notes and CD art and it was done really poorly. i was pissed but i was just 19 and had other things going on so i didn't really pursue the issue.

It was okay, $21, they had other records that were way too expensive though. i wouldnt pursue buying records there but it was an impulse buy since i was there and i didnt have it.

that's what i figured, but ya $21 is actually not bad. mine was bought used (and the packaging that holds it looks it) for about the same price or more.

Yeah i was okay with the price, sealed and double lp, i dont think its 180 gram but oh well.
