Agreed, like i said in the previous thread though, my closest record store is Fingerprints which is unfortunately 30 minutes away in Long Beach, so i don't get to go to it very often. So i'm mostly buying on eBay or other online stores. I miss the days of having 3 really good record stores within 5-10 minutes of me.

I unfortunately just found out i got burned for about $30 on my recently ebay purchase of the kevin devine pink/blue album, they had it at 60 and i got em down to 50 but i just found the album for sale from the label for $21! ouch!

Kevin Devine "Brother's Blood" - LP - Academy Fight Song and i probably would have ordered the orange/red instead!

having the ebay app on the iphone and just browsing on there without doing any research bite me in the ass this time.
haha, ya the cost of having a house and kid do eat into the bank account. BUT, i was already spending more than normal on myself. $500 on shoes, $500 at agent p and $300 at kiki de montparnasse. being a lady is expensive even without the family stuff thrown in.
obviously, i don't spend like that every month, so i can allot more towards records next month.

god, that really sucks about getting ripped off on the kevin devine album. it reminds me of the time i bought an oop CD off ebay back in college in '98. i won the bid at $25 which was a lot to me back then and when i got it, it was just a burned copy and the person had made copies of the liner notes and CD art and it was done really poorly. i was pissed but i was just 19 and had other things going on so i didn't really pursue the issue.

    Another gem:

Hard Stance - Face Reality 7" (1st pressing green)

I am pretty sure you can find that NO 12" at any discount vinyl store. It's silver.
i remember you started a thread and posted a clip of that performance here. it was awesome. before i knew jawbox, i knew onelinedrawing and "savory" was always my favorite.

YouTube - Onelinedrawing - Savory (Jawbox cover)

It was okay, $21, they had other records that were way too expensive though. i wouldnt pursue buying records there but it was an impulse buy since i was there and i didnt have it.

that's what i figured, but ya $21 is actually not bad. mine was bought used (and the packaging that holds it looks it) for about the same price or more.

Some other notables in my collection:

Stalag 13 - "In Control" Full album on a 45. Pretty cool.
Nemesis Compilation - "No Control at the Country Club" (clear)
Nemesis Compilation - "The Icemen Cometh" (clear)
Cause For Alarm - Self titled
Blackspot - "Check out the Helmet" (clear)
    Infest - "Mankind" ep (blue)
Shelter - "In Defense of Reality 7" (1st pressing)

    Willing to trade:

Mean Season - "Bleed to Me" 7" (clear)
Rebuilding - 7" Hardcore sampler (Gorilla Biscuits, Turning Point, Burn, No Escape)
    Evergreen/Still Life - Split 7" ep
Strife - "My Life Burns On" 7" (1st pressing)
Majority of One - Rage 7" (orange)

I am pretty sure the trade items are out of print. You may find the MS & Strife 7's" at vinyl solutions.

Willing to trade all of them for "When Reason Sleeps, Demons Dance" by Reason to Believe on cd. A burned copy will get you one.

    Let me know.
