here's a split featuring chuck ragan and 3 other musicians. it came with a screenprinted poster.

this is the hand numbered muff potter split 7" #840/2000 in a gatefold sleeve and chuck ragan's "gold country, which instead of coming on black vinyl like KRM featured on their site, it's some kind of grey with black marble/swirl. it looks WAY cooler than i thought it would. very happy to have it.



i went to lou's record shop in encinitas this weekend because i was in the area and their selection stunk. they used to be in two buildings/trailers and right now they're in one because the other one is under construction. the stock always suffers when the merch space shrinks. :(

damn i think i have to order that copy of Gold Country, you got it from KRM?

Any of the system gurus know anything about these?

I almost bought one of those, well it was a Pro-ject or Rega P1, but I went vintage and found an old technics. I did a bunch of research and those are great tables.

You'll notice quite a difference once you upgrade, because the cartrdige/needle, receiver, speakers, equilizers add so much more sound and body, than a Crosley (my sister has one). It is a lot of $$$ with all the components you need to put together a good system.

needledoctor is a good spot to find stuff, and prices are not too crazy.

same story as sarfy, i was bout to get one until i found my vintage pioneer. i think it'd be a great buy. i also buy through needledoctor. you should get yourself a good pre-amp also. pro-ject makes good ones that'll match the table well.
