my old band got to play the cd listening party in Hollywood for To The 5 Boroughs, it was also a premier for a Transworld Skate video, the Beasties didn't perform and wernt there, but was still pretty cool to be a part of.

My record buying sorta slowed down (was laid off about a month ago) but it started getting busy again (new job). Some cool buys was combat rock by the clash and black celebration by DM both for 99 cents. I also got a 3lp by Moss Icon that i had pre-ordered a long time ago, wasn't expecting pretty wax but they're all diff colors with an etching on the back. might take a pic when i get a chance.

ya, i'm slowing down, too. weeded out a few things and sold them. although i encountered an ******* on ebay who only had 1 feedback to his name and left me negative feedback without contacting me first about the (brand new) record being scratched. after contacting him asking what the deal was, he said it was more like a greasy fingerprint than a scratch. whaaaaat...? then he said he'd retract the negative since it wasn't my fault but then he never did. blahblahblah.
anyway, i got leatherface's horsebox and matt skiba and the sekret's babylon yesterday and i'm taking a break from record buying for now since the playoffs left a giant dent in my bank account. i'll take the kings getting this far over records any day though!
