Well this is tastier than i imagined. Rex Brown(pantera/down) Vinnie Appice(Sabbath/Dio)...So, Imagine good aggressive and yet melodic american metal, sort of a BADLANDS meets Dio-era SABBATH. Real nice vocals(he sings...don't growl) and just some good riffy but yet sludgy...and still, catchy, tunes. Great production too. This is a gem that proves that ROCK is still alive.
Oh my beloved Cult. Always uncomfy with what you are. Best example...this album was produced by Chris Goss(masters of reality/QOTSA) and re-produced by Bob Rock(too many shiny things). More like LOVE-era cult, yet, every once in a while, Billy Duffy breaks out some nasty riffage. This band is always gonna be at odds, but this is the most cohesive they have been since Electric.
Some nice Drum work by John Tempesta b.t.w.

Myles Kennedy has a grate voice...meaning at times it is grating. Yet some of these songs are nicely written and there is some GREAT interaction. Great production and some really nice hooks. I really wish Axl and Slash could work together because it just keeps feeling like they should.
Listening to the new Garbage album a lot. Awesome!
Interpol.
Even their new(er) album is starting to grow on me (especially the song "Lights")

"I love this f***ing team right here."
Officially late to the party. Sadly this band hit at the tail end of the 80's metal boom, and they were sooooooo far away from what was accepted at that time. Recently got these cheap...so good. Beatle-esque psychadelia by way of Herman's Hermits and HR Pufnstuf. Just beautiful stuff here. The kind of music that it is hard to be in a bad mood when you listen to it.
