Thread: What are you reading? What was the last book you enjoyed?

Doing my annual reading of Lord of the Rings. Though technically I never finished last year's annual reading, so I'm doing that before I can do this year's. Mid-way through Two Towers, if anyone's that interested.

I think I'll read The Stand next...

great movie! A classic. Go rent it or something, it won't disappoint.

Classic book. Some people find the slang he uses (there's a dictionary in the back) a little hard to grasp at first, but once you get used to it, it's no problem and it reads pretty fast.

It did take me a bit to translate the dialogue, learning a new language. But I think I'm getting used to it.

Holy Blood, Holy Grail
One of dan brown research book for the da vinci code.
It is research base on parchments found in france that leads to the Knights Templar, the Prieure, the crucifixion, and the Holy Grail.
I occasionally read this book I have finished chapter 3 a month ago and did not return to the book since then.

Second book in the Sword Dancer series by Jennifer Robeson

Always something by Edgar Allen Poe.

I'm reading Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy. REeally good so far. About 200 pages into it.

Finished A Clockwork Orange. Glad it had the extra chapter in the end where Alex grows up.

Deception Point by Dan Brown. So far so good, will check back when it's done in a couple days and let everyone know....
