As always, an entertaining read but usually similar characters and story lines. I still learn something every time, and I'll look forward to his next book.

I needed something new to read, so I'll have to check out House of Leaves. Thanks for that.

And thanks for the recommend on House of Leaves. Just ordered offa Amazon. Sounds like a slice of fried gold.
House Of Leaves takes a little work and requires some patience, but... holy ****, I still think about that book a lot. Wish I had more time so I could read it again.

I'm currently in the middle of that new Andrew Vachss book.

"... a little work and requires some patience" like a normal person or like that Foucault's Pendulum bull***** this thread inflicted upon me? lol. I'm still traumatized by that nonsense.

Like a normal person. I hate to potentially recommend something you'll dislike, but I can tell you with complete certainty that if I tried to have BoobyTrap read that book, I think she would divorce me. She does NOT have the patience for it.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, Jammer. I thought I taught you better. :P

And Adgy, I am sure some guys wish they could easily get their wives to divorce them simply by handing them a book.

Do audio books count? Out would they fall under the "what are you listening to" category?

I say stick them in here. We (or maybe just I) sort of use this as an All things: Books thread, too.

Yeah...why not. Audio books are books too with just a different delivery system. Please be sure to include who read it if it's cool and or pertinent.
