I have 10 pages to go on Order of the Phoenix (it's about 1642 times better than Goblet of Fire)... then I will probably start Angels & Demons... although I do have Under the Black Flag sitting around that I still haven't read.

Juggling both:
Hottentot Venus by Barbara Chase-Riboud
and
Anna Karenina - Tolstoy
Currently reading (and almost finished) Star Wars: Medstar 1 - Battle Surgeons by Michael Reaves and Steve Perry:

Star Wars meets M.A.S.H, set during the Clone Wars. Great character writing. Book 1 of 2.
"Redemption" Book 3 of the Dhamon Saga...part of the Dragonlance universe

I read Lucky as a result of being so moved by "The Lovely Bones".
This too is an incredibly powerful book. It's a true account. Makes me shudder when I think about it.
Yeah "New Spring" was good, liked learning more about Moiraine and how she met Lan. The next prequel is supposted to be about Tam and how he got his heron marked sword. Jordan said he is going to concentrate on the the original series before finishing the prequels.Quote:

I would much rather read about something that actually happened, then to read fiction. I guess I just want to learn about things that have happened and try to understand the events better.
Black Hawk Down and The Cell are great examples.
damn, i had a whole long reply, and my stupid computer ate it. :(
i'm almost done with The Time Traveler's Wife. very good!!
